promoting coexistence: sabadell anti-rumour network
In 2013, Sabadell City Council, together with the Comissió de la Convivència de Sabadell, launched the project “TEIXINT LA CONVIVÈNCIA: XARXA ANTIRUMORS DE SABADELL” (Promoting coexistence: Sabadell anti-rumour network) in order to fight rumours and prejudices related to diverse groups in the city.
This project aims to develop an action strategy to sensitise citizens to these rumours and prejudices by creating an anti-rumours agents network. This network provides citizens with rigorous information which will help to scotch misconceptions and avoid its permanent dissemination.
