Prioritization of traffic lights for delayed buses in crossings Rambla / St. Pere, Francesc Macia / Pi i Margall and Ctra Prats / Puig de La Creu. Mobility in the Gran Via Avenue WiMAX network that allows: remote maintenance of traffic lights, online traffic counting and variable traffic information panels. Traffic light synchronization: synchronization system of traffic lights on Axis-Villarúbias Zamenhof. (Change in regulators with GPS technology and GPRS/3G wireless network).

300.000 euro savings per year avoiding: Collection trucks routes: 38.091 km / year Noise Bad Smell CO2 emissions : 7,8 tn /year

Medium term objective (2014): Continuos optimisation of waste collection routes, minimising them and hence reducing their economic, environmental and energy costs through the installation of: * Sensors at containers providing information about whether they have been emptied or not. * Control sustem about the position of collectiong trucks in order to monitor their location in real time.
